Photo taken on Sunday night on the way home after parking, coming from a breakdance jam/battle.
While coming home after a long breakdance battling event, I observed this pathway lit up as if was waiting for me. This natural streetlight gently led the way home, guiding me back to safety. I perceived this sense of comfort provided by these warm patches of light, while the night sky is dark, yet bright with the moonlight. It made the atmosphere feel safe.
I was initially inspried by how safe and welcoming it felt as if the lighting and the environment was waiting for my arrival. It sort of acted like an invitation after spending a night of intense and high-energy moments earlier. I learned that lighting doesn't have to be something super fancy to make an impact. I just have to acknowledge this valuable moment that show me the way home with safety and joy.

Very nice analysis of how the lighting affected you and inspired you. Subtly is often the goal when lighting a piece as most of the time we are trying to follow and uplift the action on stage. Nice post.
