For this week's submission I have a photo that I took on Monday night before Cierra's rehearsal for New Slate. This is the view from the third level in the Mesa parking structure. I always forget there is a baseball field next to the parking structure and always get surprised to see it. I wasn't planning on watching the sunset but as I walked back to my car I noticed a lot of the sky had been in pink and had to take a look. You can't tell much in this photo though because sunsets pass so quickly. I thought it was a perfect picture for our movement blog. The lighting in this sunset reminds me of layers of a cake because it's different in each part and I think each part is equally beautiful. I absolutely love the pinks, peaches, blues, and purples in the sky and clouds. I stood there and soaked in as much of the sunset as I could before it said goodbye. I think it's a beautiful representation of staying present since sunsets and even sunrises tend to move so briskly yet sometimes it's hard to even tell if they're moving or not. This was such a beautiful sunset and moment of gratitude.
