I visited Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga after dark, and the space felt instantly festive. Warm string lights framed the walkways, trees were wrapped in white and blue lights, and the small stream reflected everything beautifully. The designers clearly aimed to create a cozy holiday atmosphere that invites people to linger and shop. The lighting colors were a little uneven at times, but together they still formed a beautiful, festive environment. Overall, the space felt welcoming and captured the spirit of the season.
This jewelry store caught my eye immediately. From afar, the lighting looked warm and golden, drawing me in. Up close, the interior read more white, likely reflecting off the pale wood floors. Despite the shift in tone, the lighting felt soft, simple, and elegant. The store’s minimal and refined theme is supported well by the lighting. It highlights the jewelry gently and creates a calm, comfortable shopping experience. In this case, the lighting clearly enhances the brand’s atmosphere.
The lighting inside POP MART felt very flat and purely functional. The entire store was lit with uniform white light that made the products easy to see but didn’t add any atmosphere or depth to the space. There were no accents, color contrasts, or focused highlights, just even illumination across the whole room. Because of this, the lighting didn’t enhance the visual experience or create a sense of mood. A more dynamic or layered approach could have made the environment feel more engaging and visually interesting.

I completely agree with your assessment of each space. Especially the last one - you see that fluorescent wash in too many stores - OK for overall light the accents you are talking about are so important, along with some sort of ambiance. Very nice observances throughout!
